They are comforted to know that he has been taken into custody, that he is going to remain in custody for the next 90 days and that on October 31st will be back here, at which time the Setian's support, the District Attorney's recommendation, the probation report referenced by the District Attorney for a State Prison term of a minimum of 4 years 8 months for Lane Garrison, for the death of their son Vahagn and the serious injury of 2 fifteen year old girls.\"\u003cbr/\u003eFormer \"Prison Break\" actor Lane Garrison, who pleaded guilty to vehicular manslaughter and drunken driving in a 2006 crash that killed a teenage passenger, was ordered on Thursday to undergo a 90-day evaluation in a prison to help a judge decide his sentence.\u003cbr/\u003eGarrison will undergo a 'diagnostic' by parole officers and psychologists before returning to appear before Superior Court Judge Elden S. Fox on Oct. 31.\u003cbr/\u003eFox said he was not moved by Garrison's celebrity status and did not care if Garrison had some notoriety.\u003cbr/\u003eGarrison, 27, was driving a 2001 Land Rover on December 2 when he lost control and rammed a tree. \u003cbr/\u003eThe crash killed Vahagn Setian, a Beverly Hills High School student who would have turned 18 on Aug. 1. \u003cbr/\u003eTwo other passengers, both 15-year-old girls, survived.\u003cbr/\u003eGarrison had a blood-alcohol content of 0.20 percent, more than twice the legal limit for driving, and was under the influence of cocaine, according to police.\u003cbr/\u003eDozens of the victim's friends and relatives were in court, with many wearing T-shirts with Setian's picture on the front and the James Dean saying, \"Dream as if you'll live forever, live as if you'll die today\" on the back.\u003cbr/\u003eAbout 20 people attended the court session in support of Garrison.\u003cbr/\u003eThe actor pleaded guilty in May to one count of vehicular manslaughter without gross negligence, one count of driving under the influence with a blood-alcohol level of 0.15 percent or higher and a misdemeanour of providing alcohol to a minor.\u003cbr/\u003eHe faces a maximum sentence of six years, eight months in prison. \u003cbr/\u003eThe Los Angeles County district attorney's office has asked for four years and eight months.\u003cbr/\u003eGarrison cried during the hearing and apologised to Setian's family.\u003cbr/\u003e\"I've relived that night every day and I think about the bad decisions I made that evening.
