The Royvon Pet Hotel in Wales charges �29 (USD $45) a night for luxury rooms which come complete...\u003c/span\u003e\n\u003cspan class='full-description hide'\u003eDog owners who feel guilty about jetting off on holiday without their pets can now send them to their own five-star ritzy rover hotel. \u003cbr/\u003eThe Royvon Pet Hotel in Wales charges �29 (USD $45) a night for luxury rooms which come complete with bed and flat-screen TV.\u003cbr/\u003eWelcome to the Royvon Country retreat in Merthyr Tydfil, it's a five-star luxury hotel like no other. \u003cbr/\u003eAll the residents here are of the four-legged kind, but don't be fooled - they still receive the same level of service you'd expect from any other boutique hotel.\u003cbr/\u003eYou won't find dog baskets or cramped kennels here, instead the pampered pets have a choice of luxury suites all designed by the renowned fashion designer Julian Macdonald. \u003cbr/\u003eThis is the hotel's top room, The Presidential Suite, which comes complete with it's own 24-inch flat-screen television, designer wall paper and framed artwork. \u003cbr/\u003eThe lucky resident can enjoy a comfortable nights sleep in a miniature metal-framed bedstead complete with its own duvet and cushions. There's even heating and air conditioning for maximum comfort.\u003cbr/\u003eNext door is perfect for the kids. Toto's Toy Room is brightly decorated with lots of fun accessories. And for tonight's guest the shocking pink bed is a comfortable place to rest after a hard day's play.\u003cbr/\u003eThe Waikiiki Wing offers an exotic Hawaiian theme, with a comfortable doggy bed providing a place to gaze out over the beach view. \u003cbr/\u003eAnd if that all proves too tiring the curtains can be pulled across the window and the television turned up.\u003cbr/\u003eSarah Draper of the Royvon Dog Hotel says: \"We decided to open a luxury hotel for mainly for people who don't board their dog in kennels, because they don't like the environment. So we've designed four rooms, all individually designed with webcams and TVs, so it's good for your older guests or dogs that are nervous or people who just want that peace of mind they can see their dog anytime of day and log onto the web cams.\"\u003cbr/\u003eThe Webcams are located in the corner of each of the luxury rooms, and provide a live stream which can be accessed from anywhere in the world.  \u003cbr/\u003eOwners of dogs staying at the hotel can simply logon on via the internet and see instantly what their beloved pet is up to.\u003cbr/\u003eDog owner Debra Mathews is a big fan of the concept.\u003cbr/\u003eShe says: \"It's fantastic, it's reassuring - look at him. You know that he is happy, he still got the same personality, really cheeky, adventurous, as you can see up on the furniture. I'm able to look at him 24/7, there's always staff available if that there is something wrong I could give them a phone call and ask them to check on him.\"\u003cbr/\u003eMany of the hotel's guests travel a long way to stay here, with the majority of owners, who are often celebrities, living in London.  \u003cbr/\u003eAn air-conditioned taxi is even available to ferry the dogs to and from Wales. \u003cbr/\u003eOnce here though it's not just the luxury accommodation to look forward they'll also be pampered in the hotel's grooming parlour - some dogs even book in once a day for a quick makeover. \u003cbr/\u003eAnd when the sun shines there's always an opportunity to cool off with your friends in one of the popular water facilities. \u003cbr/\u003eThe paddling pools are a firm favourite with the residents here. For the staff it's all about making sure the dogs are as happy as possible and they're used to getting unusual requests from owners, even about which channel the TV is set to in the bedrooms.\u003cbr/\u003e\"We tend to leave Animal Planet on for them, for the television for them. But we had one request from a lady who had a dog that didn't particularly like animal programmes and would attack the television if did so, so she asked us if we could we actually put sport on for the dog because he quite liked watch sport channels.
