disputably a cause of mad cow disease.\u003cbr/\u003eFrom Saturday onwards, farmer will no longer be allowed feed animal meal to their animals.\u003cbr/\u003eIt's a nightmare for Germany's 43 factories that make the product.\u003cbr/\u003eOne of them is based in Genthin, one and-a-half hours away from Berlin in Saxony Anhalt. \u003cbr/\u003eHere, storage facilities are at capacity. \u003cbr/\u003eThe consumer market has evaporated and producers don't know what to do with the surplus.\u003cbr/\u003eOne possible solution would be to use animal meal as fuel for heating. \u003cbr/\u003eBut that would mean converting their technologies, which is also a problem because few producers have the capital reserves to fund any changeover.\u003cbr/\u003eThe manager of the company also feels responsible for his 84 employees who could soon be out of a job. \u003cbr/\u003eThe company in Genthin is the second biggest in Germany. \u003cbr/\u003eIn all, output of animal meal from the Saria Bio Industries totals 67-thousand tons of animal meal.\u003cbr/\u003eThe factory workers don't understand why their jobs are at risk because they produce the animal meal to high standards.\u003cbr/\u003eHowever, A-P-T-N wasn't allowed to film the beginning of the production process.\u003cbr/\u003eThe plant owners felt the ingredients would offend many people -
