life in prison.\u003cbr/\u003eShe will have to serve at least 40 years before becoming eligible for parole.\u003cbr/\u003eThe 37-year-old housewife's lawyers smiled as the verdict was read, but there was no apparent reaction from Yates.\u003cbr/\u003eProsecutors told jurors earlier on Friday that there were reasons to send Andrea Yates to death row but said they could accept a life prison term.\u003cbr/\u003eDefence lawyers pointed out that Yates was not a danger to society and said she did not have criminal mind. \u003cbr/\u003eRejecting her insanity plea, jurors convicted Yates, 37,
