society from the old to the young. \u003cbr/\u003eThe Italian children's program \"melevisione\" or \"apple-vision\" is running a special called \"eurolilleri\" to help children understand the change communities have organised special training sessions to familiarise the elderly with the new currency.  \u003cbr/\u003eDuring this training session in Rome, elderly residents were provided with lire-euro converters and assisted in calculating costs for some of their daily expenditures.\u003cbr/\u003eThe public awareness campaign has also targeted teenagers.  \u003cbr/\u003eAt the Einaudi school in Rome, students studied brochures last week and discussed with their teacher how much a cappucino, a bus ticket, and a leather jacket will cost in euros.\u003cbr/\u003eThe Italian daily cappucino habit was also the theme in another of the government's TV ads.\u003cbr/\u003eItaly's Autogrill - a restaurant that serves food along Italy's highways went one step further in its public awareness efforts. \u003cbr/\u003eOn the 20th of November the restaurant did a test at one of their locations along the Milan-Varese highway.  \u003cbr/\u003eDuring the breakfast hours, clients were provided with a envelope filled with cardboard euro coins and paper euro banknotes.  \u003cbr/\u003eCustomers had to pay for their cappucino and cornetti with the pretend euro-money.  \u003cbr/\u003eIt was a bit confusing, the restaurant discovered that customers needed 50 percent more time to figure out how much to pay in Euro, but, nevertheless, in five hours the restaurant managed to handle 400 receipts. \u003cbr/\u003eIf the Autogrill experience is any indication, Italians will find that doing business of any kind will probably be more time consuming come
