Wide of fans, media gathered in front entrance to funeral home\u003cbr/\u003eWhitney Houston fans gathered outside New Hope Baptist Church and the Whigham funeral home in Newark on Friday to pay their respects the day before her funeral. \u003cbr/\u003eIt was announced on Friday that her final resting place will be next to her father, John Russell Houston Junior.\u003cbr/\u003eHouston will be laid to rest at the Fairview Cemetery in Westfield, New Jersey, after funeral services this weekend.\u003cbr/\u003eHouston's father was buried there in 2003. \u003cbr/\u003eFifteen hundred guests are expected to attend the private funeral services including Aretha Franklin, Clive Davis and Stevie Wonder. \u003cbr/\u003eHouston, who was 48, died in Beverly Hills last Sunday, the day before the Grammy awards.\u003cbr/\u003eThe funeral service will be held at New Hope Baptist Church. \u003cbr/\u003eOutside the church, fans laid flowers, signed large cards and sang some of Houston's hits for television cameras. \u003cbr/\u003eSome fans also expressed disappointment that the family decided not to hold a public memorial service. \u003cbr/\u003e\"I believe it's unfair, said Alonzo Conti,
