nuclear programme.\u003cbr/\u003eYoshitaka Amano, Secretary General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) said its knowledge of Tehran's activities was limited to what was declared by Iran.\"\u003cbr/\u003eAfter two days of discussions with the five members of the UN Security Council plus Germany in Istanbul, on Friday and Saturday, Iran refused to abandon its uranium enrichment programme which many feel is geared towards producing material for a nuclear weapon - a charge Iran denies.\u003cbr/\u003eThroughout two days of hectic meetings, Iran pushed demands it must have known were unacceptable to the six - a lifting of sanctions and acceptance of its enrichment programme before any further discussion of its nuclear activities.\u003cbr/\u003eLow-enriched uranium - at around 3.5 percent - can be used to fuel a reactor to generate electricity, which Iran says is the intention of its programme. \u003cbr/\u003eBut if uranium is further enriched to around 90 percent purity, it can be used to develop a nuclear warhead.\u003cbr/\u003eAmano called on Iran to implement its obligations, including clarification of any military nuclear activities, and implement all UN Security
