The story follows the convoluted path of a precious diamond through the murky London underworld. \u003cbr/\u003eJones' costars include EWEN BREMMER (\"Trainspotting\"), BENICIO DEL TORO (\"The The Usual Suspects\", \"Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas\"), DENNIS FARINA (\"Reindeer Games\", \"Get Shorty\"),  MIKE REID (\"Eastenders\") , and Hollywood's hottest, BRAD PITT. \u003cbr/\u003eWorking together is a dream come true for both Ritchie and Pitt, who has been hounding the director for a role since seeing his widely acclaimed first feature. And only too happy to have the Hollywood heavyweight involved, Ritchie quickly signed him up, putting Pitt's ear for accents to work with a role as an Irish gypsy !\u003cbr/\u003eBrad Pitt headed a shortlist of Hollywood talent eager to work with the young director  following the release of the smash hit 'LOCK STOCK AND TWO SMOKING BARRELS'. Tom Cruise was so taken with the film - apparently he declared after a private screening  'This film rocks' - he was rumoured to be in the running for a role. The  Material Girl is apparently so smitten with Ritchie, she has bought a London home on his advice. But the director has refused to fall for the lure of Hollywood . Despite being offered a range of lucrative - and big budget - films, he has returned to the East End - and a relative small budget of $8 million dollars. \u003cbr/\u003eFor Ritchie, it's all about retaining control.
