Line of girls walking with books balanced on head\u003cbr/\u003eA scene straight from 'My Fair Lady' played out at a posh London hotel on 2 April, as a dozen girls in frilly dresses attended a \"princess boot camp\" ahead of this month's royal wedding.\u003cbr/\u003eThe pint-size princesses learned how to walk with correct posture, eat with decorum and curtsy. \u003cbr/\u003eThe 12 British and American girls, aged seven to eleven, arrived at the hotel dressed in their best party frocks for a crash course on the graceful art of being polite.\u003cbr/\u003eIn their first lesson, they were told how to curtsy in front of a fake Queen Elizabeth II.\u003cbr/\u003eArriving in pairs and trios, the girls bobbed up and down gracefully and obediently uttered \"Good afternoon, your majesty\".\u003cbr/\u003eA life-sized cut-out photograph of Prince William and Kate Middleton was also used for curtseying practice.\u003cbr/\u003eIt's doubtful, though, that any of the girls will even come close to the real-life royals at their 29 April wedding.\u003cbr/\u003eSeven year-old Vivienne Bartels from Wimbledon in London had far simpler concerns.\u003cbr/\u003e\"Princesses look really pretty, so I want to look really pretty as well,\" she said.\u003cbr/\u003eOnce the girls mastered the art of curtseying, they set off to learn how to take tea.\u003cbr/\u003eThe princesses-in-training were instructed how to stir tea properly, without the sound of spoons clanking against china cups, and how not to leave crumbs on their mouths when eating finger food.\u003cbr/\u003eJerramy Fine, the American founder of Princess Prep, said she wanted to offer the free one-day tutorial as a preview for a planned three week-long summer camp in London. \u003cbr/\u003eFine said her programme was less about teaching young girls how to snag a prince and more about how to behave like a lady.\u003cbr/\u003e\"I wanted to create something ladylike that I would have liked,\" Fine said.\u003cbr/\u003e\"And if we can also learn history and learn about what the real royals are doing - that it's not just about Disney - and learn manners and etiquette, all the better.\"  \u003cbr/\u003eCosting more than $4,000, the camps teach girls about modern and historic princesses, royal history, phone etiquette and how to take compliments, Fine said.\u003cbr/\u003eThe girls will also volunteer at charities, while being waited on by a butler called 'Jeeves.'\u003cbr/\u003eMaude Fisher, an eight year-old American from Princeton, New Jersey, said the afternoon's lessons had made her feel \"happy\".\u003cbr/\u003e\"Before, I felt shy and like just a normal person - and now I feel like I actually am a princess,\" she commented.\u003cbr/\u003eThe girls at Fine's camp may have a few years before they begin to hunt for aristocratic husbands, but they are already enthralled by the possibility that they, too, could become royalty.\u003cbr/\u003eEach avidly consumed the contents of 'The Princess Handbook' they received on Saturday and chatted about wanting to attend balls, live in castles and get rich.\u003cbr/\u003eBut any concerns about princess-mania and the trend of becoming ultra-feminine were shrugged off by the girls' mothers.\u003cbr/\u003eMichelle Gray, a 39 year-old full-time American mother, said she felt there was nothing wrong having with princess fantasies when girls are young.\u003cbr/\u003e\"I thought it was really a golden opportunity for her to experience something so relevant right now, with the wedding coming up. You know, learn proper etiquette and manners,\" Gray said.\u003cbr/\u003eGray brought her seven year-old daughter Josephine to the UK from Chicago in the United States four years ago.\u003cbr/\u003eMost of the girls were less concerned with the finer points of etiquette and more concerned with having fun, however.\u003cbr/\u003eAn exercise to instil correct walking posture,
