But his policy goes up at least 20 percent each year, and today, it costs almost 1,400 dollars per family per month - his highest business expense besides employees' salaries.  He's already had to let two of them go, and he may be forced to eliminate health insurance altogether. He wrote simply, 'I'm not looking for free healthcare, I would just like to get my premiums reduced enough to be able to afford it.'\"\u003cbr/\u003e3. pressed his fight for an overhaul of health care on Saturday, using his weekly address to seek support from the American public on an issue that has become pivotal for his young health care reform options currently on the table will provide coverage for the employees of small businesses without the crushing premium payments.\u003cbr/\u003eEarlier in the week, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid announced there would be no vote on health care reform before the Congress takes a summer recess.\u003cbr/\u003eConsequently, the earliest a vote could be taken would be early fall.\u003cbr/\u003eThe United States is the only major industrialised nation that lacks a comprehensive health care plan.\u003cbr/\u003eThe stakes are huge for Obama, who is putting much of his credibility on the line to gain passage of legislation on the issue. \u003cbr/\u003eObama has argued that making health coverage affordable and sustainable is so vital that anything less will erode the economic stability of families, businesses, and even the government.\u003cbr/\u003eA new study by the White House Council of Economic Advisers said small businesses pay up to 18 percent more to provide health insurance for their employees. \u003cbr/\u003eAs a result, fewer of them do so and the number has been shrinking further in these hard economic times.\u003cbr/\u003eIt was released
