Murrah federal building, killing 168 people  and injuring more than 500.\u003cbr/\u003e29-year-old McVeigh was convicted earlier this year on all 11 murder and conspiracy  charges and was sentenced to death.\u003cbr/\u003eHowever, last week a jury convicted 42 year-old Nichols of conspiracy and eight counts  of involuntary manslaughter, but not murder, concluding he did not set out to kill  anyone.\u003cbr/\u003eGiven the split verdict against Nichols, legal experts believe it is unlikely the jury will go  along with the prosecution's request for the death penalty.\u003cbr/\u003eSOUNDBITE: (English)\u003cbr/\u003e\"My life has changed since the bombing. To me I don't have a life. My life for the last  two and a half years has been spent from one court room to another and moving out of  my apartment, trying to find myself, for a long time trying to go on with my life before I  realised that life then has gone and this is a new life so now I refer to before April 19th  is my other life. It's two different lives and I'm still scared because I don't know what's  going to happen after this is all over.\"\u003cbr/\u003eSUPER CAPTION: Jannie Coverdale, relative\u003cbr/\u003eBut prosecutors did do their best to fill the courtroom with the sights and sounds of the  bombing aftermath.\u003cbr/\u003eNichols showed no reaction on Tuesday as Kay Ice Fulton talked about her brother  Paul Ice.\u003cbr/\u003eHe had spent 20 years as a Marine before joining U-S Customs.\u003cbr/\u003eHe was one of eight federal agents to die in the blast on the 19th of April 1995.\u003cbr/\u003eMrs. Ice Fulton told the Denver court that her brother was proud to be able to take care  of everyone in the room and everyone in the country.\u003cbr/\u003eShe said it was important Nichols saw how many people had been affected by the  bombing.\u003cbr/\u003eSOUNDBITE: (English)\u003cbr/\u003e\"It's hard because just like McVeigh, he's very stone faced and wouldn't look at us  either. But it was just important to make contact, to know that these are real people,  not 168 people who were murdered but all of us who were affected.
