people.\u003cbr/\u003eNearly 150 local and international toy makers took part in the 2007 International Tokyo Toy Show.\u003cbr/\u003eAspiring rock stars were given a chance to practice their air toys.\u003cbr/\u003eMinako Sakanoue is from the Sega Toys Co Ltd Media Department.  \u003cbr/\u003eShe says that Sega Toys released a product aimed at the retiring generation.\u003cbr/\u003eSakanoue said their product the \"Grand Pianist\" sold 10,000 sets in one month.\u003cbr/\u003eThe Grand Pianist costs around 49,000 yen  (400 USD). \u003cbr/\u003eMany other toys are also aimed to help exercise the user's mind.\u003cbr/\u003eDolls at the International Toy show were no longer the traditional toys.  \u003cbr/\u003eThe dolls were baby robots that are built to help children learn how to take care of babies with their parents.  \u003cbr/\u003eCats, dogs and even parrot robots were also on display for those who are not able to have live animals.\u003cbr/\u003eThe toy industry expects products to become even more diverse in the future. \u003cbr/\u003eTakeo Takasu is the Chairman of the Japan Toy Association.\u003cbr/\u003eHe says that he believes the toy industry will increase it collaboration with companies from other industries.\u003cbr/\u003eCollaboration with industries like food, apparel and electronic makers could change the way we look at the modern toy.
