The pinafore dress is expected to reach between 15 and 20 thousand pounds.  \u003cbr/\u003eThe 1939 film cost MGM almost three million pounds  the studio's most expensive production that year.  The movie went on to win three Academy Awards including a special Outstanding Juvenille Performer award for Judy Garland.\u003cbr/\u003eAnother famous prop up for grabs is the blue door featured in the highest grossing British film of all time 'NOTTING HILL'.  The nineteenth century painted door once opened into the home of the film's writer RICHARD CURTIS.\u003cbr/\u003eHe used it as the outstanding feature of the flat where HUGH GRANT (william) and JULIA ROBERTS (Anna) fall in love.  It's referred to throughout the film, and has become a local landmark.\u003cbr/\u003eThe current occupant of the famous flat, 280 Westbourne Park Road, decided to sell the door when crowds of tourists gathering to take photographs made getting in and out of his home increasingly difficult.\u003cbr/\u003eThe door is expected to sell for between £4 6,000.\u003cbr/\u003eThe sale also includes personal momentoes from LAURENCE OLIVIER and VIVIEN LEIGH.
