will find the occasional commotion outside caused by scores of secret service agents and local police officers providing security, because the house is next door to the family home of the US President.\u003cbr/\u003ePresident Barack Obama's Chicago next door neighbour is selling his house on South Greenwood Avenue in the historic area known as Hyde Park-Kenwood.\u003cbr/\u003eReal estate agents have not set an asking price for the home because there is a question as to how proximity to the President might affect the property value.\u003cbr/\u003eThe neighbourhood has long been the home to some of Chicago's business, political and intellectual elite.\u003cbr/\u003eOwner Bill Grimshaw tells how the neighbourhood becomes a tight security zone when the President or his family are in Chicago.\u003cbr/\u003eUpon entering Grimshaw's 17-room mansion, the first thing that strikes the viewer is the size of the rooms, and the beautiful original mahogany trims in many of the rooms.\u003cbr/\u003eReal estate agent Matt Garrison is showing the house by appointment.\u003cbr/\u003eThere are original stained glass windows through the house, not only on the staircase, but also in the dining room.\u003cbr/\u003eThe dining room looks out across a short pathway between the Grimshaw home and the Obama home next door.\u003cbr/\u003eThe six thousand square foot structure sits on three standard Chicago lots.\u003cbr/\u003eThe owner thinks that there is \"a guy out there who has a very large sack of money who would give almost anything for the opportunity of living next door to our rock star President.\"\u003cbr/\u003eWhile the home is not on the open market, the website has received over 50-thousand hits and around 100 serious buyers are being contacted.\u003cbr/\u003eWhile there is not specific asking price for the home, recent sales in the neighbourhood suggest a price of somewhere between one and a half and two million US
