Various of singer Madonna on red carpet\u003cbr/\u003eThe Malawi Child Welfare Services director who is overseeing Madonna's adoption of David Banda, said he plans to soon visit the singer's London home to check that the criteria for the adoption are being met.\u003cbr/\u003eThe singer/film star and her husband, film director Guy Ritchie, took custody of David Banda, then 14 months old, last October. His father had placed David in an orphanage.\u003cbr/\u003eMalawi's Child Welfare Services is expected to file a report on the couple's suitability as adoptive parents after two trips to their London residence this year. But welfare services have already missed one visit, due last May.\u003cbr/\u003eDuring a United Nations related trip to New York, director Penston Kilembe, who is overseeing the case, said he still needs to look at his schedule for a possible trip to London. \u003cbr/\u003e\"You must appreciate that I'm responsible for so many activities within the ministry and I cannot just pull out my time to get out there.
