Medium people walking with Festival signs\u003cbr/\u003eOrganizers were busily putting on the finishing touches for the 7th annual Rome film Festival Thursday. \u003cbr/\u003eThe festival begins on Friday, November 9th and runs through November 17th.  \u003cbr/\u003eArtistic Director Marco Mueller has proudly announced the festival will have 59 world premieres.\u003cbr/\u003eOn Thursday workers were completing the set for Rome's red carpet which is being dedicated to the set designers who made Cinecitta' great. \u003cbr/\u003ePapier Mache' recreations of pieces of the sets including the Egyptian Divinity from the set of Cleopatra (1963),  the Chinese Dragon from \"Crime at the Chinese Restaurant\" (1981), and the Laughing Buddha from Gangs of New York (2002). \u003cbr/\u003eThe designer, Marco Dentici, who was overseeing the work on Thursday, explained that Marco Muller, Artistic Director of the Film Festival wanted \"a very brief overview of Cinecitt�'s creations\".\u003cbr/\u003e\"Waiting for the Sea\", the latest creation by Tajikistan-born director Bakhtyar Khudojnazarov, will be the opening night film.  It tells the story of the tragic-hero Captain Murat, played by Russian actor Egor Beroev.  When the inland sea where he lives dries up, Captain Murat decides to drag his ship across the desert until he finds water.  He is helped by his trusty friend, played by German actor-director Detlev Buck.  The beautiful Russian model-turned-actress Anastiasia Mikulchina comes in between the two men as they make their journey. \u003cbr/\u003eOpening night will also have Japanese director Takashi Miike's \"lesson of Evil\", a horror film about a school teacher who become a serial killer, knocking off his students.\u003cbr/\u003eOther highlights include Roman Coppola's \"A Glimpse Inside the Mind of Charles Swan III\" starring Charlie Sheen and Bill Murray, and Director Walter Hill's latest film \"bullet to the Head\", a  thriller starring Sylvester Stallone as a hitman who joins up with an Asian-American cop, played by Sung Kang, to take out his enemy.\u003cbr/\u003eA surprise addition to the festival lineup is \"back to 1942\" by Chinese director Feng Xiaogang.  \u003cbr/\u003eIt is based on the novel \"remembering 1942\" by Liu Zhenyun and tells a story of suffering in the Henan province famine in 1942.  \u003cbr/\u003eIt stars Zhang Gouli as a landlord named Fan, American journalist Theodore White, played by Adrien Brody and an Italian priest played by Tim Robbins.\u003cbr/\u003eTwenty-six countries will be participating in the festival from Argentina to Thailand and
