We will defend our native seeds. We will not allow, as they did in Mexico, the disappearance of our native corn,\" said one.\u003cbr/\u003eIn Mexico City  representatives participating in the national campaign for the Defence of Alimentary Sovereignty \"No corn means no country\" gathered to oppose the inclusion of corn and beans into the Free Commerce Trade with the United States.\u003cbr/\u003eThey protested at Mexico City's Angel of Independence monument holding banners and displaying images of corn cobs with horror faces.\u003cbr/\u003eLater in the day President Felipe Calderon's wife, Margarita Zavala participated in an event along with Mexico's Agriculture Secretary to commemorate World Food Day and to focus attention on problems relating to hunger in Mexico.\u003cbr/\u003eZavala acknowledged that
