And while some advocates are applauding today's announcement, many say it doesn't go far enough because it doesn't include full health insurance benefits for same sex partners.\"\u003cbr/\u003eExtending health benefits requires action from Congress. \u003cbr/\u003eObama says he will push for that step, and many advocacy groups say he must in order to complete this community came to a head last week when the administration defended the Defense of Marriage Act, which allows states to reject another state's legalized gay marriages. \u003cbr/\u003eBut on Wednesday, Obama vowed to repeal the act. \u003cbr/\u003eBarack Obama\u003cbr/\u003e\"I believe it's disciminatory, I think it interferes with state's rights and we will work with Congress to overturn
