(Sept. 7) \u003cbr/\u003eWith Americans growing increasingly frustrated over an economy that is struggling to climb out of a recession, the November elections could be dismal for Democrats. \u003cbr/\u003eThat's raising questions about whether President Barack Obama will be a help or a hindrance to his party's candidates. \u003cbr/\u003eSo far much of Obama's foray into the 2010 races has been in the form of fundraising. \u003cbr/\u003eEven if some of his agenda items are unpopular, the president is still the best in his party at bringing in money. \u003cbr/\u003eBut his appearances on behalf of individual candidates has been less frequent - among those he's campaigned for are Senate majority leader Harry Reid, who is facing a tough race in Nevada....California's Barbara Boxer who is trying to hold on to her longtime Senate seat....and Illinois Democrat Alexi Giannoulias who is running for the Senate seat Obama once held. \u003cbr/\u003eDemocrats say Obama will stump for more candidates this fall....but in some races _ particularly in more conservative districts _  the president's presence may not be to a candidate's advantage. \u003cbr/\u003eRep. Chris Van Hollen/D-Maryland\u003cbr/\u003e\"The president is going to his lead from members of Congress, the candidates. There are a lot of places to cover and he has to use his time efficiently.\"  \u003cbr/\u003eStill Congressman Chris Van Hollen, who chairs the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, says Obama will be fully engaged in the midterms. \u003cbr/\u003eRep.
