So what you see is the body that has been burned, everything else was destroyed , the pick ups and everything were melted, the electronics gone, the neck as broken and burnt as well. So what remained is the body of a fender Stratocaster that has a sun burst finish,  but made even more sun burst by the light fluid that Jimmi added to it. the guitar was rebuilt by my father and played in the 70's and he was on the cover of guitar player magazine and several other pictures on other magazines. 1968 Miami Pop Festival.\u003cbr/\u003eThe Stratocaster, now owned by Dweezil, is to be auctioned in London next month.\u003cbr/\u003eIf it reaches its estimated value of �350,000 - 400,000 (sterling) it will become the most expensive guitar ever sold in the world. \u003cbr/\u003eFrank Zappa was given the charred and blistered guitar after Hendrix's legendary performance, and the instrument stayed in Zappa's basement until 1976.  \u003cbr/\u003eZappa then had it restored it and played it on his  'Zoot Allures' album, before handing it down to his son Dweezil.\u003cbr/\u003eThe guitar, now known
