conditions to bilateral swap arrangements with China, Japan and South Korea, as Malaysia scrambled to downplay its earlier objections to the link.\u003cbr/\u003eThe consensus comes as most Asian countries are struggling to prevent the glimmer of  economic recovery from extinguishing amidst weakening currencies and plunging exports, resulting from lower global demand for electronic products and a slowdown in the U.S. economy. \u003cbr/\u003eIn an uncharacteristically strongly-worded statement, finance ministers censured Japan, pinpointing the yen as a cause for financial market
