This race is all but over.\"\u003cbr/\u003eObama conceded his West Virginia defeat in advance but was looking ahead to the Oregon primary next week and to the general election campaign against Republican John McCain.\u003cbr/\u003eHe spent the day campaigning in Missouri, a hotly contested battleground state in recent elections, and went after McCain as a continuation of the George W. Bush administration.\u003cbr/\u003e\"Just look at where he stands and you'll see that a vote for John McCain is a vote for George Bush's third term,\" Obama told a town hall event.\u003cbr/\u003eHe said Americans need a new direction in Washington and said it was a \"moment to turn the page on division and distraction and actually get things done.\"\u003cbr/\u003eWith just five more races left to go, Obama had 1882.5 delegates to Clinton's 1713.  \u003cbr/\u003e2,025 delegates are needed to clinch the nomination and Obama appears well on his way to doing that before the August convention.\u003cbr/\u003eMany in the Democratic party leadership have called on Clinton to drop out of the prolonged battle so that Obama and the party can focus on November.\u003cbr/\u003eBut a new ABC News/Washington Post poll finds that 65 percent of Democrats want her to stay in.\u003cbr/\u003e\"I believe she should continue the race.  I mean she's very adamant about her job and she's very adamant about the race, which I commend her on,\" said Obama supporter Corey Hawkins.\u003cbr/\u003eNot surprisingly, Clinton supporter Debbie McCormick agreed: \"She has absolutely no reason to drop out of this race. She needs to stay with it to the convention and let everybody vote and let us all decide, all of us, all of America decide who we want.\"\u003cbr/\u003eAP's Fournier said Clinton will eventually drop out of the race, but at a time that is comfortable and convenient for her and no one else.\u003cbr/\u003e\"There are a lot of reasons to stay in and you can only get out once.
