lower.\u003cbr/\u003ePing An Insurance soared 42 percent in its market debut to 47.92 yuan on strong demand for new shares, but other financials declined as funds shifted to the insurer.\u003cbr/\u003eICBC (Industrial and Commercial Bank of China), China's biggest lender by assets, slipped 2.45 percent to 4.78 yuan and China Life Insurance fell 5 percent to 34.09
