They were ill people who were hospitalised who  couldn't be moved. They were people who were very weak and unable to go on.\"\u003cbr/\u003eSUPER CAPTION: Christophe Nkanzaba, Local UNICEF employee\u003cbr/\u003eThe Zairian army have been unable to push back the rebels, who continue to advance.\u003cbr/\u003eDespite equipment, such as these helicopters at their disposal, the soldiers are in  many instances more interested in looting than fighting.\u003cbr/\u003eA Lieutenant Colonel, speaking on condition of anonymity, said morale among the  government troops was growing worse with each rebel victory.\u003cbr/\u003eBut from its northwest regional capital the Zairian government has refused to concede  the rebels could successfully take Kisangani. \u003cbr/\u003eAnd a spokesman criticised the United Nations and its agencies for abandoning the  refugees living in the Tingi Tingi camp. \u003cbr/\u003eSOUNDBITE: (French)\u003cbr/\u003e\"It's the United Nations, the personnel of the United Nations who have provoked the  movements there.
