Various of Belloso being escorted in police vehicle \u003cbr/\u003eEl Salvador's Special Police arrested a man on Monday, accused of killing two police officers and injuring 10 others last year during a protest. \u003cbr/\u003eAn emergency call led to the arrest of 30-year-old Mario Belloso, who was arrested while crawling out of a man hole.  \u003cbr/\u003eBelloso, who was wanted for 10-thousand US dollars, had been a fugitive of the law after he used an M-16 to shoot at police during the 2006 protest. \u003cbr/\u003eAccording to an official police report, Belloso went into the man hole which he reached through a tunnel that he dug under a desk in a house where he had been staying.  \u003cbr/\u003eNational Police Director Rodrigo Avila said Belloso had only been living in the house for a week. \u003cbr/\u003e\"We believe he was in other areas of the country, somewhere in the north of Chalantenango near the Honduras border,\" Avila said.\u003cbr/\u003eInside the home police found a rifle, a 22 calibre gun, military uniforms, rebel paraphanelia and a laptop. \u003cbr/\u003eThe fugitive was presented to the press with long hair, dirty and barefoot.
