SOT Stephen Maycock: 'Perhaps one of the more unusual items is an original street sign for Arnold Grove, in Liverpool, which was where George Harrison was born. He was born at 12 Arnold Grove in 1943 and it's one of the original signs that would have been on one of the house walls at the time. I'm not quite sure when the sign dates from but from it's condition it was on the wall for many years and a good long time ago.'\u003cbr/\u003e7. VS Beatles memorabilia\u003cbr/\u003e8. The 'Yellow Submarine' film, it's a very collectable item, but this a really exceptionally large background and celluloid which is exceptionally rare to find , any original painted background is rare but this one is a really big one about 2 foot long so that's valued at £5000.' \u003cbr/\u003e10. SOT Stephen Maycock: 'We have a very nice brocade jacket which is one that was made especially for Jimi Hendrix by a company in London called Dandies, who were one of the tailors that made a lot of clothing for Jimi Hendrix and this comes with a letter signed by the late Noel Redding confirming it was one of the jackets made for Jimi in about 1969, we're not too sure exactly when and that's valued at £1500-2000.'\u003cbr/\u003e14. VS memorabilia\u003cbr/\u003eNext Wednesday (24SEP) sees the latest collection of rock 'n roll memorabilia go under the hammer at Sothebys.\u003cbr/\u003eAs ?? Stephen Maycock explains a majority of the sale is dominated by pieces relating to the Beatles.\u003cbr/\u003eAmong the highlights is an original Liverpool street sign from Arnold Grove - the street in which George Harrison was born on February 25, 1943, expected to fetch £600-700 (over $1000 US dollars)\u003cbr/\u003eAlso on sale and with an estimate of £800-1200 ($1300-2000 US dollars) is a table from John Lennon's Weybridge home, 'Kenwood', dating from the 1960s, together with a photograph of John with the table in the background and a signed note from his first wife, Cynthia, which says  'This table has seen and experienced many great occasions....if only it could talk' \u003cbr/\u003eAt the higher end of the price spectrum, a large collection of unpublished photographs and black and white negatives of The Beatles in Adelaide, Australia is estimated at £13,000-15,000 ($21000-24,250) and an extremely rare signed copy of the band's 1966 album 'Revolver' - signed for Ken Mansfield, former US manager of Apple Records - is estimated at £18,000-20,000 ($29000-32,300)  while other signed albums include an autographed copy of 'With The Beatles' from 1963 and an autographed copy of 'Please Please Me', also from 1963. \u003cbr/\u003eOther Beatles-related memorabilia includes autographs as well as signed programmes, menu cards, tickets, photographs and even a Jubilee Stout pamphlet and a wine bottle emblazoned with the Fab Four's signatures.\u003cbr/\u003eAside from The Beatles memorabilia there are several pieces in the sales relating to the history of Punk Rock. These include a rare poster for the Sex Pistols at the 100 Club on August 10, 1976, which is estimated at £2,000-2,500, while more unusual pieces include two rare boxes of Sex Pistols promo lavatory paper from 1977 decorated with the distinctive ransom-note lettering stating 'Anarchy's in the UK'. \u003cbr/\u003eA collection of memorabilia relating to The Clash is estimated at £500-700, and includes posters for concerts in Glasgow and Coventry, contracts for Dublin and Dunfermline as well as various tickets/passes; tour itineraries; press kits and photographs.  \u003cbr/\u003eAlso included is a collection of printed material relating to the Isle of Wight Festivals from 1968-1970. The festivals in 1969 and 1970 can certainly claim to be the UK's answer to the legendary Monterey and Woodstock Festivals and this collection, as compiled by the designer and thought to be unique, comprises five reprints of the Melody Maker advertisement of 1968; five main promo posters; three ticket proofs; Bob Dylan posters; three unpublished photographs of Jimi Hendrix, Roger Daltrey and the festival stage during a sound-check.\u003cbr/\u003eOther legends of Music and Film represented in the sale include Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly \u0026amp; The Crickets, The Doors, Rolling Stones, Eric
