Wide of voters chatting\u003cbr/\u003eAmericans flocked to venues around the globe on Tuesday to vote in a Democrats Abroad primary as Republicans made their Super Tuesday choices known through absentee ballots.\u003cbr/\u003eMost of the focus was on the Democrats, partly because of intense press coverage of the razor's edge battle between Senator Hillary Clinton and Senator Barack Obama, and also because the Democrats Abroad primary gave people a last minute way to cast a meaningful primary vote.\u003cbr/\u003eThe voting will determine who gets the 11 delegate votes allocated to Democrats Abroad at the Democratic National Convention in August. \u003cbr/\u003eThe group is allowing online voting, a first for voters overseas, that will continue for one week.\u003cbr/\u003eSome Democrat voters expressed a desire for an abrupt change of direction with the coming end of President George W. For most Super Tuesday states, the deadline was Tuesday. \u003cbr/\u003eSome of the absentee ballots being sent in now are for later state primaries.
