Wide of ministers leaving news conference \u003cbr/\u003eThe finance chiefs of the leading world economies have announced an ambitious plan to help governments get more taxes from multinational companies.\u003cbr/\u003eThe plan was designed by the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) and introduced at a meeting of the Group of 20 finance ministers in Moscow on Friday.\u003cbr/\u003e\"Today represents a major step forward along the road of creating a set of tax rules that are fair and fit for the modern economy,\" said British Chancellor of the Exchequer George Osborne. \u003cbr/\u003e\"They are part of strengthening of that modern social contract, where we expect companies and individuals to pay the taxes that are due,\" he added.\u003cbr/\u003eThe new 15-point plan includes ways to close loopholes, for example that allow companies to stash profits from in offshore subsidiaries.\u003cbr/\u003eIf it is adopted, the measures would be implemented over the next two years and target such practices as deducting the same expense more than once, in more than one country.\u003cbr/\u003e\"The companies understand what is going on. Anton Siluanov, the host of Friday's G20 meetings, said it's aimed at allowing multinational corporations to prosper without loading a higher tax burden on domestic companies and individual
