And they worry.\u003cbr/\u003eWork schedules are stressful. Corporate downsizing is stressful. Trying to gains skills to compete in the business environment is stressful. America's most common mental health problem, and the reason why, on this occasion we welcome you where ever you are all across the country to National Anxiety Disorders Screening Day.)\u003cbr/\u003eJerilyn Ross is one of the mental health experts screening the video at her clinic in Washington, D-C.\u003cbr/\u003eShe specializes in dealing with various forms of anxiety-related illness. \u003cbr/\u003eRoss says the average person may react to extreme situations with fear or stress.\u003cbr/\u003eOthers may suffer prolonged reactions -- leading to abnormal behaviour such as a phobia or post-traumatic stress.\u003cbr/\u003eAs a group of disorders it's more common than depression, it's more common than substance abuse and schizophrenia than any other mental problem. We also know it's one of the most treatable.\u003cbr/\u003eSUPER CAPTION: Jerilyn Ross, President, Anxiety Disorders Association of America\u003cbr/\u003ePatients like 25-year old Stephanie say they've coped with anxiety disorder much of their life and on their own. They come to the clinic looking for answers to what they're feeling.  \u003cbr/\u003e(voice of Stephanie)....It's like your eyes have gone fuzzy but you know it's not your eyes it's your mind. And...that's probably the scariest. It's just a feeling you don't connect to people. You sort of feel like your not really there....It's kind of a disassociated feeling.
