York.\u003cbr/\u003eThe video shows the plane's tail towering over the debris of the wrecked house.\u003cbr/\u003eFlight 3407 crashed belly first on top of a house about six miles (10 kilometres) short of Buffalo Niagara International Airport Thursday, killing 50 people including a resident on the ground.\u003cbr/\u003eNeighbour Sam Merlo was inside his bedroom when he heard the crash.\u003cbr/\u003eThe teenager rushed to the scene with his camera capturing explosive footage as flames roared around the collapsed home and the remains of the plane.\u003cbr/\u003eMerlo said he was able to walk all the way to \"the garage of the house\" to capture the images, which were filmed even before emergency services arrived on the scene.\u003cbr/\u003eMerlo said flaming debris had covered the neighbourhood, describing the heat from the crash as \"like opening up an oven door and just looking into the oven and having that rush of heat just at you.\"\u003cbr/\u003eThe video's release came as investigators worked to gain more clues as to what may have cause the plane to crash.\u003cbr/\u003eInvestigators in Washington and Buffalo huddled on Sunday at the start of an in-depth study of the plane's voice cockpit and voice data recorders. \u003cbr/\u003eHours later, National Transportation Safety Board member Steve Chealander released facts illustrating how the Continental Connection flight disappeared from radar late on Thursday, plunging into a house and killing 50 people.\u003cbr/\u003eChealander said information from the plane's flight data recorder indicated that the aircraft pitched up at an angle of 31 degrees in its final seconds, then pitched down at 45 degrees.\u003cbr/\u003eThe plane rolled to the left at 46 degrees, then snapped back to the right at 105 degrees, 15 degrees beyond vertical.\u003cbr/\u003eRadar data shows Flight 3407 fell from 1,800 feet (550 metres) above sea level to 1,000 feet (309 metres) in five seconds, he said. \u003cbr/\u003ePassengers and crew would have experienced G-forces up to twice as strong as on the ground.\u003cbr/\u003eJust before they went down in a suburban neighbourhood, the pilots discussed \"significant\" ice build-up on their wings and windshield. \u003cbr/\u003eChealander said in an interview that the pilot may have rejected federal safety recommendations, and the airline's own policy for flying in icy conditions, by leaving the autopilot on even after he notified air traffic control that the flight crew had spotted ice on the the wings and the windshield.\u003cbr/\u003eInvestigators who examined both engines said they appeared to be working normally at the time of the crash.\u003cbr/\u003eColgan Air operates a fleet of 51 regional turboprops for Continental Connection, United Express and US Airways Express.\u003cbr/\u003eBy Sunday, authorities had recovered the remains of 15 people from the wreckage as crews raced to finish their work before a storm expected later in the week.\u003cbr/\u003eRecovery crews could need as much as four days to remove the remains from the site.       \u003cbr/\u003eAuthorities say DNA and
