Wide of press room\u003cbr/\u003eNo evidence of doping was detected in samples from ten Austrian skiers who were targeted in late-night raids and subjected to surprise drug tests at the Turin Olympics, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) said on Friday.\u003cbr/\u003e\"The samples did not show up any adverse findings,\" IOC spokeswoman Giselle Davies said at a news conference in Turin, hours after the test analysis was completed.\u003cbr/\u003eThe negative findings did not clear the Austrians, however. \u003cbr/\u003eThe IOC plans a formal investigation after the Turin Games and could sanction the Austrians based on evidence found in the police raids and other circumstantial evidence.\u003cbr/\u003eArne Ljungqvist, Chairman of the IOC medical commission, said the drug tests were \"only one piece of information out a total picture of information.\"\u003cbr/\u003eLjungqvist said the IOC was waiting for Italian authorities to return tests and information based on their raids.\u003cbr/\u003eThe six cross-country skiers and four biathletes were given unannounced drug tests last Saturday night while Italian police raided team lodgings in a search for medical supplies and equipment that could be used in blood doping.\u003cbr/\u003eThe raids were conducted after anti-drug authorities discovered that banned coach Walter Mayer was with the team at the Turin Games. \u003cbr/\u003eMayer was banned from the Olympics following allegations of blood doping at the 2002 Games in Salt Lake City.\u003cbr/\u003eThe test results had been delayed for several days as the urine samples underwent detailed analysis at the official IOC doping control laboratory in Turin.\u003cbr/\u003eLjungqvist said the tests found no sign of banned stimulants, anabolic steroids or the endurance-boosting drug EPO (Erythropoietin).\u003cbr/\u003eBut he made it clear that the investigation was ongoing, and positive drug tests were not the only way doping could be
