thousands of adoring fans in Tel Aviv's largest park on Thursday night - the first time since The Beatles concert was cancelled in Israel some 43 years ago.\u003cbr/\u003eFour decades ago the Israeli government banned a planned concert by the Beatles, ruling that the rock group's performance could corrupt the morals of Israel's youth.\u003cbr/\u003eThere were fears \"that those strange four young boys from Liverpool who grew their hair and played this noisy music might affect in a negative way the Israeli youth,\" said Eliezer Sandberg, a former Israeli cabinet minister and Beatles fan.\u003cbr/\u003eThis time, McCartney has gone to great lengths to stress that he carries a message of peace for Israel and the Palestinians. \u003cbr/\u003eOn Wednesday he visited the West Bank
