and at least 40 US Marines guarded the newly fenced perimetre of the port, guarding the ship as it docked with three metric tons (three point three US tons) of high protein biscuits and diesel fuel.\u003cbr/\u003eAt least seven aid workers had been living in shipping containers aboard the Seabulk Martin 1 as they waited for peacekeepers to secure the port.\u003cbr/\u003eMore aid was due in on cargo flights and in ships, waiting, in harbours in neighbouring countries, according to the UN World Food Programme.\u003cbr/\u003eAs the first aid ship docked at the heavily shelled, looted port,
