Earlier this year his ballad 'Hero' caught the spirit of the post 9/11 mood and conquered the charts across the world.\u003cbr/\u003eHis new single, the title track for his latest album 'Escape,' features a rocky and raunchy video in which Enrique gets into a series of steamy clinches with the Russian tennis temptress Anna Kournikova. \u003cbr/\u003eIn the video the couple indulge in passionate French kissing and turn up the heat in a toilet and the back of a car.\u003cbr/\u003eInevitably, it sparked rumours of an affair between the two but the singer has denied they are an item.\u003cbr/\u003eThe heartthrob says he's been focusing his energy on the tour and music is his first love.  \"I love it so so much that I'm willing to sacrifice what ever I have to do as long as I can do it, you know for the rest of my life,\" he said\u003cbr/\u003eBut the star, who admits he is shy, says the celebrity status that his success has conferred upon him is a mixed blessing. I work every single day, you know, so whenever I have a day off, I want it for myself you know I don't want that day to be in a newspaper or in a magazine.\"  \u003cbr/\u003eThe star is promoting his latest album 'Escape' which, apart from the ballad 'Hero', features a track listing of big sounding pop rock.\u003cbr/\u003eBut the singer insists his influences have always included the 80s stadium rock of the likes of  U2, Dire Straits and Bruce Springsteen.\u003cbr/\u003eIglesias co-wrote and co-produced almost every song on the album, working once again with dance beat masters Paul Barry and Mark Taylor ('Bailamo', 'Be With You' and 'Rhythm Divine' and now 'Hero', 'One Night Stand', 'She Be The One' and 'Love To See You Cry') and Lester Mendez ('Sad Eyes' and now 'World Crashes Down'), as well as a new kid on the Iglesias block, Morales. \u003cbr/\u003eAnd he's branching out in other directions too.\u003cbr/\u003eAfter a spate of appearing alongside real actors and actresses in his videos, including Jennifer Love Hewitt and Mickey Rourke in 'Hero' and Shannon Elizabeth in 'Be With You', Enrique will soon be seen on the big screen himself.\u003cbr/\u003eHe recently filmed a cameo role for the new Robert Rodriguez film 'Once Upon A Time in Mexico' ('Spy Kids', 'From Dusk Till Dawn', 'Desperado') set for release in America this September. \u003cbr/\u003eHe will star alongside Antonio Banderas, Salma Hayek, Johnny Depp, Mickey Rourke and Willem Dafoe in the crime western, based on the story of a drug lord Barrillo (Dafoe), who pretends to overthrow the Mexican president.\u003cbr/\u003eThe singer has just completed an extensive series of dates in the US and  started the European leg of his tour on the 27th April in Lisbon. He will be doing a massive 11 dates in the UK and Ireland and then further performances in Italy, Germany, Switzerland, Norway, Denmark, The Netherlands and
