camps, providing some welcome distraction to the hundreds of thousands of earthquake survivors for whom floods, danger and insecurity have become a daily reality.\u003cbr/\u003eThe program follows the travails of a homeless family, combining comedy, drama and educational messages. \u003cbr/\u003eThe latter are provided by UN peacekeepers, who finance the series to the tune of six-thousand US shooting the first two episodes, they were being shown around the city on big white screens set up around a dozen earthquake camps. \u003cbr/\u003eThe third episode is where things got complicated however. \u003cbr/\u003eA low-pressure system over the northern Caribbean pushed torrential spouts of rain into the earthquake-ravaged capital. \u003cbr/\u003eCivil defence authorities issued a flood warning, but the actors and crew reported to the hillside camp in the neighbourhood of Tabarre all the same.\u003cbr/\u003eThe area outside the shooting tent turned to sticky mud, a family's tent was blown off the nearby hilltop, and people ran to cover their few belongings from the rainfall. \u003cbr/\u003eSuch are the hazards of shooting in a real camp on the flood-prone outskirts of Port-au-Prince, but Jacques Roc said the crews' dedication was the only way to make sure the series' message will resonate with the people living in the camp. \u003cbr/\u003eOn Saturday night - as almost every weekend in May - the soap opera was shown in the screen and its fans were there, despite the heavy rain.\u003cbr/\u003eAmong them was 19 year old Luknor, who lost his home in the January 12, magnitude-7 quake that killed more than 200-thousand people and left over one (m) million people homeless.\u003cbr/\u003e\"Every Friday, Saturday when they show it on the screen, I like to watch it because they teach us what to do.\" \u003cbr/\u003eHe added that now he is learning how to deal with the new way of life after the earthquake. \u003cbr/\u003e\"We are making arts, we are making
