It's very cool she's being honored, I'm a big fan of hers,\" Kardashian said.\u003cbr/\u003eThe Angel Ball is known for its outstanding live show and A-List celebrity attendees, and is the signature fundraising event for Gabrielle's Angel Foundation for Cancer Research.  The Foundation was created in 1996 by Denise Rich and her daughters in memory of her daughter Gabrielle who passed away at the age of 27 from leukemia.\u003cbr/\u003eThe reality television star was happy to participate in the event, and for good reason.\u003cbr/\u003e\"I'm just honored that Denise invited me to come tonight, and to speak tonight. But all that was behind her on the red carpet.\u003cbr/\u003eEve feels the stigma surrounding Campbell is often misguided, and partly blames the press.\u003cbr/\u003e\"I think that people that know Naomi know she is a good person and with a good heart. Unfortunately, the media tries to play her out as something else, but she's a good person with a good heart,\" Eve said.\u003cbr/\u003eWhile Campbell has had some problems with the law, she has also done lots of philanthropic work. That's enough for Denise Rich.\u003cbr/\u003eThe mission of Gabrielle's Angel Foundation is to fund basic and clinical medical research in both conventional and integrative disciplines which focus on prevention, treatment and quality of life issues of leukemia, lymphoma and related cancers.  \u003cbr/\u003eRich spoke of the importance of the charity for her daughter's honor.\u003cbr/\u003e\"I know that she would be very proud because she asked me - before she died, she made me promise that would start this charity, Gabrielle's Angel Foundation, and that other people wouldn't have to suffer the way she did.
