suggestion after visiting the U-S National Centre of  Missing and Exploited Children in a Washington suburb.\u003cbr/\u003eDehaene's visit follows Belgium's child kidnap and murder scandals which sparked a  massive public outcry and widespread criticism of the country's judicial system.\u003cbr/\u003eBelgium's prime minister Jean-Luc Dehaene got a first hand look at how the U-S  National Centre for Missing and Exploited Children works.\u003cbr/\u003eThe centre distributes information about missing children across the United States.\u003cbr/\u003eCase workers run a hotline for anxious parents and establish a computer database of  the missing children.\u003cbr/\u003eMissing posters are printed and distributed and information is sent to an Internet page.\u003cbr/\u003eCentre officials, who work closely with law enforcement agencies and victims' families,  have played a role in finding over 33 thousand missing children since 1984.\u003cbr/\u003eDehaene says his tour convinced him a centre like this could be an effective tool in  combating the exploitation of children.\u003cbr/\u003eHe was so impressed, the Belgian Prime Minister said he wants to establish one\u003cbr/\u003ein Europe, perhaps as early as next year.\u003cbr/\u003eSOUNDBITE: (English)\u003cbr/\u003e\"We are convinced, I must say after our discussion here this afternoon, I am convinced  too, that the experience of the centre can be useful for us, and that we should see how  we can work together to bring same kind of, I will not say solution, but the same kind of  dynamic to the
