Only a small number of the hundreds of wells have been sabotaged.\u003cbr/\u003eThe unit crossed a bridge that marked the front line in sight of Iraqi positions. The night before, 3 Para's mortar company attacked Iraqi tanks on the other side of river. \u003cbr/\u003eAn Iraqi was filmed surrendering, one of hundreds that 3 Para have taken prisoner of war since the conflict began five days ago.\u003cbr/\u003eThey also found an Iraqi weapons cache.\u003cbr/\u003eElsewhere in southern Iraq, at the north western tip of the Rumeila oilfield, 1 Para troops unloaded from RAF Chinook helicopters.\u003cbr/\u003eUS troops have pushed through the region but left pockets of instability between the Rumeila oil field and the Kuwaiti
