Even members of the nation's most traditional industry - wine makers - believe continued road blocks...\u003c/span\u003e\n\u003cspan class='full-description hide'\u003eFrench/Nat \u003cbr/\u003eWith truck drivers offering little sign of ending their strike across France, businesses are beginning to feel the strain. \u003cbr/\u003eEven members of the nation's most traditional industry - wine makers - believe continued road blocks and fuel shortages could spell disaster.\u003cbr/\u003eThe launch of the world famous \"Beaujolais Nouveau\" is less than two weeks away - normally greeted with the traditional cry \"Le Beaujolais Nouveau est arrive\" (Beaujolais is here).\u003cbr/\u003eBut the crisis may force growers to abandon their slogan  - if the Beaujolais doesn't arrive on time.\u003cbr/\u003eIn the heart of the Beaujolais countryside, 40 kilometres north of Lyon in France, the outlook is increasingly bleak for wine growers.\u003cbr/\u003eThe harvest is long since over but the arrival on the market place of perhaps the world's most celebrated wine 'Beaujolais Nouveau' is still at risk.\u003cbr/\u003eAt this distributor - one of the largest of its kind in the region - the bottling process is in full swing.\u003cbr/\u003eHundreds of bottles are being corked for the wine's launch on Thursday, November 20th.\u003cbr/\u003eBut whether they will find their way to the bars, restaurants and dinner tables of wine lovers on time can't be guaranteed.\u003cbr/\u003eThe continued strike action by truck drivers across France has put a potential stranglehold on the winegrowers' distribution network.\u003cbr/\u003eBut if there are concerns within the wine industry, they don't appear to be shared by those behind the strike.\u003cbr/\u003eSOUNDBITE: (French)\u003cbr/\u003e\"Listen, I'll tell you one thing the Beaujolais isn't always exported and anyway it's already in England because shipments have already been sent.\"\u003cbr/\u003eSUPER CAPTION: Vox Pop, Supporter of strike action\u003cbr/\u003eThis is partially true - exceptionally the distribution date for the wine was brought forward - but this was only for first stocks and much still remains in France.\u003cbr/\u003eEnough certainly to worry this production cooperative which sees the approaching launch date as make or break.\u003cbr/\u003eSOUNDBITE: (French)\u003cbr/\u003e\"We're limited to a very exact date which is the 20th of  November and if all the bottles are not sent out by then we'll have a distribution problem and a drop in sales and the wine will have to stay here. So it's a big problem. If the roads are blocked, then we'll not be able to get the lorries through - that's clear. In which case, we'll be stuck.
