Clip Video - Butterfly\u003cbr/\u003eSince its release a number of weeks ago, the lyrics \"Come my lady, Come come my lady, you're my butterfly, sugar baby\" seems have been a catchphrase with much of the world's chart-listening public.\u003cbr/\u003eThis lyrical infection is courtesy of the multi-tattooed and pierced Crazy Town, a six man band hailing from Los Angeles, who combine hip hop with rock in order to create their individual sound.\u003cbr/\u003eThe group originally consisted of only Shifty Shellshock and Epic Mazur, but they soon enlisted the help of guitarists Rust Epique and Anthony Valli, bassist Faydoe Deelay, and drummer JBJ and DJ AM.\u003cbr/\u003eTheir debut album \"The Gift of Game\" originally came out in 1999 but it's not been until this year that the single \"Butterfly\" has brought the group to the world's attention.  Fans of the single have rushed to buy the long-player, and have been surprised by its content: the tracks are much heavier and darker than \"Butterfly\".\u003cbr/\u003e\"Butterfly\", according to Crazy Town's press release, is \"an ode to the one special woman every man hopes to have by his side someday\", but the band told AP it is actually about Shifty Shellshock's ex-girlfriend.  The track went straight to the top of the US Billboard singles charts and is currently in the top ten European singles charts.\u003cbr/\u003eOne of the reasons for the band's delay on hitting the big time has been drugs.  Two of the band's members had to check into rehab because of drug addiction and another suffered a substance-related nervous breakdown.\u003cbr/\u003eHowever, now the band say they're over their drug problems, and collectively they support one another in keeping clean.\u003cbr/\u003eAfter overcoming internal problems within the group, Crazy Town have finally gained international recognition.  They are thoroughly enjoying it, mainly because of all the free goods that they get showered with, including music, shoes and clothes. \u003cbr/\u003eCrazy Town are now gearing up for various public appearances, including a gig on the main stage at Ozzfest this summer - a gig which they pulled out of last minute a year ago.\u003cbr/\u003eWhether Crazy Town will just be another one hit wonder is anyone's guess.
