It's very much about the emotions of people and how they go about it. There's a lot of - it's quite dense and there's a lot of characters involved.\" \u003cbr/\u003eMcAdams plays a human rights attorney.  \u003cbr/\u003e\"It was something I had never played before,\" McAdams said. She's a pretty fierce character in terms of what she believes in and she goes after it wholeheartedly and her heart's in the right place. And I'd never played a German anything, let alone a German lawyer so I was excited to try the dialect out and immerse myself in German culture and take that on so - and then I just, I loved the tangled web and how complicated it was and these characters are - you know there's no straightforward answers and it really made me think and I hope that extends to the audience as well.\"\u003cbr/\u003eThe actress worked with a dialect coach -  as did Russian co-star Grigoriy Dobrygin, who had to deliver his lines in English.\u003cbr/\u003e\"Yeah, I have dialect coach, he worked with me and he helped me,\" explained Dobrygin. \"I just try speaking English without hard Russian accent.\"\u003cbr/\u003e\"About Time\" and \"Midnight in Paris\" star McAdams has been to her share of prestigious film festivals - including Cannes, Venice and Toronto - but this is the first time she has promoted a movie in the Utah mountains.\u003cbr/\u003eWhile many celebrities who attend Sundance find time to go skiing, McAdams laughed that she's unlikely to join in.\u003cbr/\u003e\"I tried snowboarding and I never quite got to the skiing part.
