several officers were slightly injured by masked Palestinians who threw rocks and two firebombs, but police did not enter the mosque.\u003cbr/\u003eThe contested site, where the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound is built above the ruins of the biblical Jewish Temples, is one of the region's most sensitive.\u003cbr/\u003eIsraeli steps to quell Palestinian disturbances there have led to full-blown the funeral procession for 22-year-old Palestinian Mohamed Mansour who died from an injury he sustained two weeks ago in a demonstration calling for the release of Palestinian prisoners from Israeli jails. \u003cbr/\u003eMansour was injured in scuffles with Israeli soldiers, who claim they used only rubber bullets but no live ammunition.\u003cbr/\u003eAnother protest took place in the West Bank village of Sebastya on Friday, where Palestinians clashed with Israeli security forces.\u003cbr/\u003eThe protesters were demonstrating against the contamination of their land by what they claim is
