Close of girl kitted out with gadget carrying belt and gadget arm holder running into shot and out\u003cbr/\u003eFrom wireless to wearable - the idea of living-technology is moving up a gear.\u003cbr/\u003eIt really could be time to hide something up your sleeve.\u003cbr/\u003eBuenos Aires is a vibrant mix of bohemian charm and edgy 21st-century energy, a modern capital where social equals networking, and hi tech equals style. \u003cbr/\u003eWi-Fi can be accessed on almost every corner and gadgets are worn as fashion accessories. \u003cbr/\u003eThe city's image conscious residents are self confessed technophiles.\u003cbr/\u003eNow a local, young, start up clothing design company is tapping into this lucrative market. \u003cbr/\u003eJulieta Gayoso, founder and manager of Indarra DTX, says her aim is to create a synergy between technology, clothing and a modern lifestyle.\u003cbr/\u003eAs we increasingly go through life immersed in our own portable media universe, keeping all your gadgets fully charged and to hand is a new challenge.\u003cbr/\u003eFinding a socket to power your Wi-Fi connected smart phone, or searching in your bags for ever shrinking pocket bound devices have become daily dilemmas for some. \u003cbr/\u003eIndarra's first collection, which was launched in 2008, aims to answer some of these questions.\u003cbr/\u003eFounder Julieta Gayoso says their innovative clothing is focused on providing a variety of ways to remain connected to all applications.\u003cbr/\u003eIndarra's key product is a solar-panel jacket lined with a photovoltaic pane that generates enough energy to power personal devices while on the go.\u003cbr/\u003eThe solar panel is connected to a buffer battery in the inside pocket which can be used to charge a device directly or store the power until needed.\u003cbr/\u003eComing with connectors for pretty much every kind of mobile device, it can,for instance, fully charge a mobile phone in around 3 hours.\u003cbr/\u003eThe collection also includes trousers that have built in wireless control devices to connect to and operate stored MP3 players from up to 18 metres away.\u003cbr/\u003eAnd then there's the jacket with touch sensitive fabric that will let you change tracks or turn up the volume with a tip on the sleeve.\u003cbr/\u003eThe whole collection has already been snapped up by MacStation, Latin America's biggest Apple supplier. \u003cbr/\u003eCommercial manager of the tech superstore, Agustin Bracco, says this is exactly the type of solution their clients are always on the lookout for.\u003cbr/\u003eBut hi tech clothes don't come cheap. For instance, the solar panel jacket retails on the company's Web site at around US$370.\u003cbr/\u003eMax Soria and Alejandra Bravo are self confessed worshippers of everything that blinks and makes beeping noises, and they are ready and willing to fork out for the latest in accessories.\u003cbr/\u003eAndrea Saltzman is the head of the design department at UBA, the University of Buenos Aires. \u003cbr/\u003eHaving integrated the Indarra collection into her student's research curriculum she says the potential for more of this type of clothing is limitless. \u003cbr/\u003eKeyword
