But there is another scenario, and it is much darker and it is more common. And I am talking about the five-year old girl who is made beg for the adult trafficker across Cambodia, the twelve-year old boy in northern Uganda who is captured and trained as a soldier, and forced to kill, and an eight-year old girl who is so hungry that she trades sex for food. headquarters in Washington DC.\u003cbr/\u003e\"I'm here simply to ask you to think about orphan children, not as a burden, but as a great opportunity,\" Jolie told reporters.\u003cbr/\u003eJolie appeared  to open the Washington headquarters of Global Action for Children, a non-partisan advocacy group formed in 2003.\u003cbr/\u003eThe group, supported by a collection of charities, religious groups and nongovernmental organisations, wants the Bush administration to commit an additional 2.5 (b) billion US dollars a year to education and to aiding orphans in developing countries.\u003cbr/\u003e\"In my travels I have seen two very, very different scenarios for these children,\" Jolie said.\u003cbr/\u003eShe said that orphan children sometimes beat the odds and survive but often are enslaved, resort to prostitution or are forced to become child soldiers. \u003cbr/\u003eShe said vulnerable children could be recruited to join terrorist organisations.\u003cbr/\u003e\"These scenarios are more and more common,\" Jolie told reporters.\u003cbr/\u003eJolie has adopted three children, but said any help that people in the U.S. can offer is better than nothing.\u003cbr/\u003e\"The best solution for anybody who is abandoned or displaced is to be able to be home, be in their home country, have strength and support in their own community,\"
