al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden had contingency plans to take him alive but as expected a fire fight broke out and bin Laden was killed.\u003cbr/\u003eJohn Brennan said that first reports of the incident suggested that his wife died when she came between her husband and the US troops, but it wasn't clear if she placed herself in that position or if she was being used as a
