Simpson arrived Monday at a Santa Monica courthouse to face another day on the witness stand at the civil trial over the deaths of his former wife, Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman.\u003cbr/\u003eThe plaintiffs' lawyer Daniel Petrocelli  challenged O.J. Simpson over his alibi for the night of the murders and also accused the former football hero of memorising his evidence. \u003cbr/\u003eOutside the courthouse, scores of supporters and hecklers gathered as well as trial watchers who spent all night queuing for tickets. \u003cbr/\u003eThe hopeful trial watchers gathered overnight to be first in line for the lottery draw of just 16 seats allocated for the Simpson civil trial.\u003cbr/\u003eThe number of people far outweighed the number of tickets available so a strong police presence was necessary to keep the crowd under control.\u003cbr/\u003eWinners were chosen by drawing from a jar. \u003cbr/\u003eAn actress named Sally Schaub won a seat today as she did Friday. Schaub says she comes to the trial to see \"history in the making.\"\u003cbr/\u003eWhile the lawyers and victims' families arrived for the hearing - Simpson's supporters and detractors shouted their views to the media and the world.  \u003cbr/\u003eSome booed and shouted, \"Murderer, murderer\" while a small group of women chanted \"O.J., O.J., O.J\" in support.\u003cbr/\u003eSimpson arrived just three minutes before the session was supposed to start. \u003cbr/\u003eHe was shortly followed by Denise Brown, the sister of his murdered wife Nicole Brown Simpson.\u003cbr/\u003eIn the courtroom, O.J Simpson faced accusatory questioning by plaintiff attorney Daniel Petrocelli. \u003cbr/\u003ePointing out inconsistencies in Simpson's alibi, he accused Simpson of \"memorising\" his story and said he had met with lawyers who'd marched him through practice sessions.\u003cbr/\u003eThere followed a rowdy exchange between Petrocelli and Simpson's attorney - Robert Baker each accusing the other of grandstanding.\u003cbr/\u003eThe case continues.\u003cbr/\u003e25 November, 1996, Santa Monica, California.\u003cbr/\u003e1.
