Senior Chinese leader Deng Xiaoping died of Parkinson disease in Beijing at eight past nine Wednesday evening at the age of 93. The Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party, the standing Committee of the National People's Congress, the State Council, the Chinese People's Political Consultive Conference and the Central Military Commission have jointly published an obituary. The obituary says Deng Xiaoping was a great Chinese leader, Marxist, Proletarian revolutionary, statesman, military strategist and diplomat.
