I was asked if I'm afraid. Of course, this is about my life and death. I hope I'll be fine, but I truly believe that if my company and my boss asked me to come, I should be safe. I hope I'll be safe.\" Chen told in the press conference.\u003cbr/\u003eMore than a hundred journalists attended the press conference at the Grand Hyatt Hotel. The attendees needed to pass a security check before entering the venue.\u003cbr/\u003eChen, who was at the centre of a high-profile celebrity sex photo scandal, has been threatened with harm in an anonymous letter packed together with a gold bullet warning Chen to stay away from public events if he valued his life.\u003cbr/\u003eThe actor caused a huge uproar in Asia's socially conservative ethnic Chinese community when photos showing him performing sex acts with eight Hong Kong actresses and singers including Cecilia Cheung and Gillian Chung were leaked onto the Internet last year.\u003cbr/\u003eChen publicly apologized in February 2008.\u003cbr/\u003eThe 28-year-old Chen testified against a computer technician accused of stealing the photos from his laptop on 23 February
