We have never interfered in their domestic affairs, never ever, and I'll want to see a country which will point a finger at us and say you have done wrong. I will want to see that finger and see whether it is clean or dirty. I will want to see it in Africa, in the African Union, I'll want to see that finger, let it be pointed at me.\"\u003cbr/\u003eZimbabwe's President Robert Mugabe said on Thursday he was open to talks with the opposition on the eve of a run-off election the Movement for Democratic Change was boycotting.\u003cbr/\u003e\"Victory by us does not mean death, the death of the MDC, nor the death of any party that desires to continue to operate because they were defeated, during this election,\" he said while speaking at a campaign rally in Chitungwiza, about 15 miles (about 25 kilometres) south of the capital.\u003cbr/\u003e\"We will remain open to discussion if there are any proposals that the other parties would want to make to us. In good spirit, we will listen to those proposals, discuss them with them,\" he added. \u003cbr/\u003eOpposition leader Morgan Tsvangirai called on Wednesday for talks on forming a transitional authority. \u003cbr/\u003eMugabe had shown little interest in talks, instead focusing on the election.\u003cbr/\u003eIn saying he was open to talks, however, Mugabe stressed that he was not being influenced by pressure from the international community.\u003cbr/\u003e\"The moment the outside world starts dictating to us we will not proceed.
