Argentina's capital on Wednesday following the acquittal of 13 people accused in the disappearance of a young woman who was allegedly kidnapped and forced into prostitution. \u003cbr/\u003eThe decision has shocked many Argentines and some political leaders have called for the impeachment of the three judges who delivered the verdict.\u003cbr/\u003eMany called the ruling a setback for Argentina's efforts to combat sex trafficking, which began largely as a result of Susana Trimarco's decade long quest to find her missing daughter.\u003cbr/\u003eHer attorneys said she would pursue appeals.\u003cbr/\u003eWednesday's street protests were rowdy, with people playing drums, singing through megaphones and trying to vandalise the provincial office of Tucuman in Buenos Aires. \u003cbr/\u003eTrimarco called on her supporters to keep the peace, even as she expressed her anger at a news conference Wednesday, accusing the judges of taking bribes. \u003cbr/\u003eShe vowed to continue her fight for justice for her missing daughter - Marita Veron.\u003cbr/\u003e\"I'm fighting for my daughter and for all the daughters of this country, for all of you,\" Trimarco said. \u003cbr/\u003e\"This is shameful what they have done.\"\u003cbr/\u003eTrimarco's search exposed an underworld of organised crime figures, who operated brothels with protection from authorities across Argentina.\u003cbr/\u003ePresident Cristina Fernandez personally called her to express her surprise and outrage.\u003cbr/\u003eFernandez also said that while she can't prove it, she's sure that corruption influenced the verdicts. \u003cbr/\u003e\"I don't have evidence, but I have no doubt that when there's money involved, the world could be playing trumpets and it wouldn't make any difference to them (the judges),\" she said. \u003cbr/\u003eFernandez added it showed the need to reform how judges are picked and allowed to remain in their jobs. \u003cbr/\u003eTrimarco's  lawyers said the verdict shows that impunity still reigns, and they said they would pursue appeals\u003cbr/\u003eWhen Veron disappeared a decade ago, sexual exploitation and people-trafficking received much less attention around the world, let alone in northwestern Argentina, where she was allegedly kept as a sex slave by an organised crime ring with close ties to authorities in the provinces of Tucuman and La Rioja.  \u003cbr/\u003eMuch of the case was built years later, as Trimarco's efforts produced witnesses who said they suffered alongside Veron in the brothels. \u003cbr/\u003eOne said she saw Veron being beaten; another said she saw her being held captive to provide sex to VIP clients.\u003cbr/\u003eDefence lawyers dismissed the women's testimony as the lies of unreliable witnesses, and the lack of any physical evidence linking the defendants to Veron proved decisive, the judges said in a brief explanation from the bench.\u003cbr/\u003eA fuller written justification for their
